Stephanie Gauthier provides private music lessons in music composition, music theory, piano and voice at Campbell Douglas Keyboards Music School. As well as a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Composition from the University of Ottawa, Stephanie has a Graduate Diploma in Film Music Composition from L’Université du Québec à Montréal. Also, she studied the piano through the Royal Conservatory for several years. Stephanie has a music education website for all her students at MusicLearning.info.
Composition Lessons:Stephanie teaches the skills to write music in a variety of styles, regardless whether you are a beginner or advanced musician. Learn the basics as well as more advanced concepts of writing for bands, for orchestra, or even for simple arrangements of piano and voice. Also learn to use the latest in music technology for composing including software to write music for film or for recording in a home studio.
Singing Lessons:Trained as a classical singer, Stephanie helps students maximize their vocal potential. Whether its classical music or musical theater, she teaches the bel canto* vocal technique used by such vocal pedagogues as Richard Miller. This technique promotes life-long vocal health and vocal development. Stephanie welcomes singers of all ages and levels.
Piano Lessons:Learn the play the piano with the classical Royal Conservatory approach. Or learn to play the piano using popular music. With this approach, students learn to create instant piano arrangements with only the melody and the chord names to a song, such as in fake books**, as well as learning to read conventional music notation. Small children to adults are welcome.
Theory Lessons:Need to learn theory for a Royal Conservatory exam or for school? Gauthier tutors students of all ages and levels in music theory.
